5) Fundraiser Event
A cocktail reception (with wine and hors d’oeuvres) followed by cabaret performance, replete with song, drama & humor for/by women – starring Ruth Beloff, Chana Cohen and Shir Hadash’s own Andrea Simantov.
All proceeds – 120 shekels per person – earmarked to assist our dear friend and matchmaker Gittel Nadel as she recovers from life-saving spinal surgery. Unable to work for several months, the weight of the associated medical expenses have left her in an untenable situation. Gittel has been a catalyst in raising funds for others over the years and now it is her turn to accept a small gesture of love and gratitude in her hour of need.
Tuesday, February 24 at 8:00pm, in the Kol Rina “Bomb Shelter” (i.e., Shir Hadash’s former Nachla’ot location) on Beer Sheva Street in Nachlaot. For more information, please call 050-665-6963 or e-mail jerusalembride@yahoo.com.
