3) Welcome Guests
We welcome to shul this Shabbat Rabbi Avraham and Rebbetzin Rachel Trugman. Rabbi Trugman will serve as the guest ba’al tephilla Friday night and deliver the d’var Torah on Shabbat morning. In addition, Rabbi Trugman will give a shiur for men, while Rebbetzin Rachel Trugman gives one to women, Shabbat afternoon at the Lurie home (HaGadna Street #14) at 5 PM. At 6:30 PM, all are invited to a seudat shlishit at the Lurie home with Rabbi Trugman, followed by a musical havdallah.
4) Shabbat HaGadol Meals
We are planning to offer communal meals on both Friday night and Shabbat morning of Shabbat HaGadol (next week), both as a means to strengthen our community as well as ease the cooking and kashering burden prior to Pesach. The Friday night meal is designed for the ‘Next Generation’ of Shir Hadash, those singles and young couples/families between the ages of 20-40. The Shabbat lunch is designed for the general community and open to all (including those who may have already participated in the Friday night dinner). The cost for each meal is 55 NIS per adult (30 NIS for children 5-12, 10 NIS for under 5). The meals will take place in our weekday location, Cheyl Nashim #4, so seating space is limited. First come, first served. Reservations may be made by making an on-line payment here, and noting in the ‘Notes’ section of your payment how many people (include children) will be attending and for which meal(s) you are reserving.

5) Passover Food Drive
We will be collecting food all next week for needy families in Jerusalem. There will be two bins — one for non-perishable kosher l’pesach food items, and one for non-perishable non-kosher l’pesach food items. Food from the first bin will be distributed FOR Pesach, while the chametzdik food from the second bin will be ’sold’ and distributed to needy families after Pesach. The collection bins will be stationed at our weekday facility, Cheyl Nashim #4, beginning on Sunday from 8 – 4 daily.
6) Upcoming Class for Women
Shira Smiles Spring Series begins Tuesday, March 31st at 8:30 PM. It then breaks for Pesach and picks up on Tuesdays April 21, May 5, 12, 19 and 26. All at the Lurie home, HaGadna 14.
