1) Lag B’Omer Lecture

Rabbi Yakov Haber will deliver a talk on Lag B’Omer tonight at 8:30 PM at the Lurie home, 14 HaGadna Street.  This talk, which will be accompanied by toasted marshmallows, a beautiful view of Jerusalem and the many bonfires and the opportunity to purchase Rabbi Haber’s book “Sephirot: Spiritual Refinement through Counting of the Omer,” is open to all.  20 NIS donation requested.

Congratulations to gan parents Ariel and Yardena Lowinger on the birth of a baby girl this week.

Congratulation to gan parents Aryeh and Adena Zahavi on the birth of a baby girl a couple of weeks ago; the baby was named Odeliah last week.

4) Hesed Opportunity

A family of refugees from darfur has turned to the Shir Hadash community for help during their stay in Jerusalem.  Please bring non-perishable food items (as well as baby items such as diapers, materna and a baby car seat) to shul this Friday night or to our Cheyl Nashim location all next week.
