3) Kiddush Talk

Following kiddush, a special shiur both this week and next will be offered at 11:30 AM by Gabriel Goldstein, a mathematics and general educator from England, who was privileged to be a close student and congregant of Rabbi Eliyahu Munk of London.  He will be sharing a few insights acquired from his teacher concerning the study of Bereishit.  The two part shiur is entitled “A Creative Way to Look at the Creation Story.”  Due to the fact that the Shabbat Hatan Kiddush may still be going on when the time for the shiur arrives, the shiur will take place in one the childrens’ rooms adjoining the main hall.

4) Mazal Tov

… to Pnina and Benzi Klugwant on the birth of a baby boy this week!  The bris, please God, will take place next Tuesday morning.  May this baby grow to merit a life of Torah, Chupah and Ma’asim Tovim.

5) Seeking Office Volunteer

Shir Hadash is in need of a volunteer to help us fill out a series of forms in order to achieve a higher level of government recognition.  The appropriate candidate should be detail oriented, familiar with Hebrew and not afraid of numbers (but need not be a proficient accountant either).  If you interested in volunteering for this limited time important task – probably will take a few hours a week for a couple of weeks – please e-mail shirhadash613@gmail.com.
