3) Kiddush Talk

Following kiddush, a special shiur – as with last week – will be offered at 11:30 AM by Gabriel Goldstein, a mathematics and general educator from England, who was privileged to be a close student and congregant of Rabbi Eliyahu Munk of London.  He will be sharing a few insights acquired from his teacher concerning the study of Bereishit.  The two part shiur is entitled “A Creative Way to Look at the Creation Story.”

4) Mazal Tov’s

… to Mitchell and Tami Barak on the birth of a baby boy.

… to Chanan and Elisheva Gafni on the birth of a baby girl.

May both children merit to live a life of Torah, Chupah and Ma’asim Tovim.

5) Refua Shlema

Our dear friend Larry Roth was tragically hit by a bus this week and remains in the ICU at Hadassah Hospital.  In addition to praying on his behalf – Nachum Eliezer ben Esther Rachel – friends are also encouraged to visit a website set up to track his recovery as well as to share words of encouragement directly with Larry.  That site is: http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/larryroth

Shabbat Shalom
