3) Hosts Needed

Anyone able to host seder guests?  We have begun to receive a number of requests from Hebrew University overseas’ students.  If you have space at their table, please contact the hospitality committee chair Peta at shirhadashhospitality@ymail.com.  Additionally, if anyone is in need of being hosted for seder, please use this e-mail as well.

4) Shabbat HaGadol Meals

On the Shabbat prior to Pesach we will be hosting catered meals in the shul, both to ease the burden of preparing for Pesach as well as to provide an important social opportunity for our members to better get to know one another.  The details are as follows:

The Friday night meal is for singles of all ages, with the various tables separated according to age.

Please click here to review the fish menu.  The cost is 75 NIS.  Payment must be received by Sunday, April 10th at the latest, either via our secure online payment program found on the website (www.shirhadash.com) or by dropping off a check at the office (Cheyl Nashim #4) between the hours of 8 – 4 daily.

The Shabbat day lunch is for the entire community, singles, couples and families alike (one may sign up for both meals if he/she wants).  Click here to review the dairy menu.  The cost is 60 NIS for adults, 30 NIS for children.  Payment must be received by Sunday, April 10th at the latest, either via our secure online payment program found on the website or by dropping off a check at the office (Cheyl Nashim #4) between the hours of 8 – 4 daily.

Once you have made payment, please e-mail shirhadash613@gmail.com with your reservation – i.e., what meal(s), how many people (indicate children if relevant), and for the singles meal, please indicate the relevant age (20’s, 30’s, 40’s, 50’s +).

5) Seudat Shlishit Volunteers

As Shabbat becomes longer we hope to launch a Seudat Shlishit program on Shabbat afternoon.  If you would like to help shape what this program will look like – educationally, socially, gastronomically — please e-mail shirhadash613@gmail.com so we may form a committee to coordinate.
